Who we are

This privacy and cookie policy applies to www.yazbahar.co. Yazbahar B.V. (Disketteweg 14, 1033 NW Amsterdam, The Netherlands, KvK 97655821) is responsible for the processing of your personal data as described below.

Protecting your privacy

At Yazbahar we are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. We only collect personal information that you provide to us or that is needed to run our store. "Personal information" is anything that is unique to you, such as your name, delivery address, billing address, email address, phone number and style interests. We do not store your full card details; payments are handled by our payment providers.

How we use your information

  • To process and deliver your orders, and to handle returns and refunds;
  • To communicate with you about your order and to answer your questions;
  • To send you marketing messages, only if you have opted in;
  • To create invoices, transaction records and accounts, and to meet our legal (tax) obligations;
  • To improve our website, products and services, and to prevent fraud.

Services we use

We share data only with parties that help us run our store, and only as far as needed:

  • Shopify – our webshop platform, hosting and checkout (Shopify Payments);
  • Payment providers – PayPal, Klarna and card/wallet providers (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay) process your payment;
  • Delivery companies – to deliver your parcel;
  • Omnisend – to send newsletters and emails (only with your consent);
  • Judge.me – to collect and show product reviews;
  • Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Merchant Center) – to measure website use and show ads;
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest and Snapchat – to measure and show ads, through pixels on our website.

We never sell your personal data. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU; in that case appropriate safeguards (such as the EU standard contractual clauses) apply.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Functional cookies are needed for the shop to work (for example your shopping cart). Analytics and marketing cookies, including those of the services named above, are only placed after you have given consent via our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, and you can also delete cookies through your browser settings.

Marketing messages

We only send you marketing emails or messages if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by contacting us.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data no longer than necessary. Order and invoice data is kept for 7 years because of Dutch tax law. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email contact@yazbahar.co. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We may update this policy. The latest version is always published on this page.
